AI on
the Lot

Six workflows that could rewire how Hollywood development, production, and distribution actually get done.

Read

Hollywood · Builder / Checker

01 A producer reads a script in 20 minutes and passes.
02 A location scout misses the permit window by a week.
03 A period piece ships with 1980s slang set in 1962.
04 A casting brief goes to CAA built on trade press from two years ago.

The industry runs
on decisions made
under pressure —
with incomplete
information.

None of these failures happen because people aren’t smart. They happen because the volume is too high and the verification layer doesn’t exist.

Ping-Pong AI builds that layer. For every workflow, a Builder generates the output. A Checker — running independently, with access to the same source material — interrogates every claim before it reaches your desk. Development. Production. Opening weekend. The architecture fits all of it.

40
Scripts crossing a producer’s desk every week. Unverified. Unread. Waiting.
4 min
What Ping-Pong AI delivers: complete, verified coverage — cross-examined against actual pages.
$0
Wasted on production design decisions a period accuracy check would have caught on page 12.
Hollywood has always paid for intelligence. Script readers. Location scouts. Publicists tracking opening weekend. The only question was how fast it arrived and whether you could trust it. Ping-Pong AI™ solves both.

Ping-Pong AI Tap Token

Tap it.
Watch it work.

The NFC tap token sits on a script pile, a casting brief, a production binder. One touch fires the entire Builder/Checker pipeline. No login. No dashboard. No waiting for someone to remember to run it.

The output arrives in your inbox, verified, before your first meeting of the day. This is what Ambient Technology means: intelligence that works without being summoned.

Six Transformative Workflows

We mapped the architecture against a film’s full lifecycle. Six workflows stood out.

Not this
Marginal improvements. AI as parlor trick. A chatbot you have to prompt, babysit, and fact-check yourself.
This
Structural change. Architecture that replaces an entire category of knowledge work with verified, delivered output.
Across
The full lifecycle — from script stack to streaming deal. Development. Production. Opening weekend.

★ Lead Workflow
01 · Script Coverage
The Script Coverage Engine
The Builder reads the full script and produces complete coverage: logline, synopsis, character breakdown, genre, tone, commercial viability, comp titles, recommendation. The Checker cross-examines every claim against the actual pages — challenging misread motivations, verifying comp accuracy, flagging every gap. Tap the token Monday morning. Verified coverage stack in your inbox before your first meeting.
02 · Location Scout
Location Scout Intelligence

The director needs a 1940s Budapest street, a working lighthouse off the Oregon coast, and a desolate Southwest highway with nothing on the horizon for forty miles. The Builder searches film commission websites, indexed production resources, and publicly available information to surface candidates for each requirement. The Checker goes back through every entry independently — verifying that contact pages are live, descriptions hold up against public photos and maps, and sourcing is real rather than inferred.

Location Scout Intelligence output
The Builder searches
Film commission websites, indexed location resources, public permit pages, geography and weather data — simultaneously across all script requirements.
The Checker verifies
Every contact page confirmed live. Every visual description cross-checked against public photos and maps. Sourcing flagged where thin or inferred rather than documented.
What arrives
A research brief your location department can act on. Organized, sourced, and cross-checked. The legwork of a first-pass scout, done before anyone gets in a car.

03 · Talent Scout
Talent Availability + Deal Memo

Casting is circling three actors for the lead. The conversation with the agency happens Tuesday. The Builder searches trade press, entertainment news, and publicly available deal announcements to build a current picture of each actor — recent projects, reported commitments, known representation, career trajectory. The Checker searches independently, cross-referencing every claim, flagging contradictions, and noting explicitly where information is thin or potentially outdated.

Talent Availability output
The Builder builds
A profile per actor from trade press and public sources: project announcements, reported deals, known representation, and career arc from what’s been covered.
The Checker challenges
Every claim cross-referenced against additional sources. Contradictions flagged explicitly. Where data is thin or dated, the memo says so — not smoothed over.
What arrives
You get on the phone with CAA knowing what’s publicly available. That’s not inside information. It’s doing the work before the call.
04 · Distribution
Distribution Strategy Builder
Film is locked. The Builder researches the streaming landscape — platforms acquiring in your genre, recent acquisition prices, audience demographics, festival strategy, international presales, VOD windows. The Checker verifies prices against reported deals and cross-references your film’s specs against current acquisition criteria. A verified roadmap before your first sales agent meeting.
Distribution strategy
Historical accuracy
05 · Period Accuracy
Historical Accuracy Checker
Script set in 1962 Los Angeles. The Builder reads the full script and extracts every specific claim — cars, slang, technology, prices, laws, brand names. The Checker then challenges each one against historical record using web search and reference sources. What comes back is a verified anachronism report, line by line. Page 34: “no worries” not in use until the 1980s. Page 67: Mustang didn’t exist until 1964. Production design and costume departments get a concrete correction list before a dollar is spent building the wrong world.
Opening weekend war room
★ Rally Workflow · 3+ Agents
06 · Opening Weekend
The Opening Weekend War Room
Your film opens Friday. Every morning at 6am — Tuesday through Sunday — the Rally fires automatically. The Builder pulls every review published in the last 24 hours across Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, trade press, and social. It synthesizes critic sentiment by publication tier, tracks word-of-mouth velocity, and benchmarks against comparable releases at the same point in their run. The Checker cross-examines the sentiment analysis against actual quoted language, verifies data sources, and flags anything that doesn’t hold up. Marketing has a verified competitive intelligence brief before the day begins — every morning, without anyone asking for it.
The Rally fires
6am daily, Tuesday through Sunday. Scheduled in your workflow plaform. No one has to remember to run it.
Sources covered
Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, trade press, social sentiment — all publicly indexed sources from the prior 24 hours.
The Checker's job
Cross-examine every sentiment claim against real quoted language. No hallucinated consensus. No smoothed-over contradictions.
That’s not a tool. That’s a war room.

The Opportunity

The architecture exists.
The methodology is proven.
Who runs it first?

The Script Coverage Engine and the Opening Weekend War Room are the two we’d build first. The coverage workflow especially — that’s a product a production company would pay a monthly retainer for, not a one-time build.

Every major studio has readers. A Ping-Pong that does what a reader does but verifies its own work against the source material is a real business.

The only question is which studio wants to run it first.
